Shipping & Handling Policies


Flat Rate Shipping
Flat Rate Shipping is the default shipping method when checking out and means that we will choose the shipping carrier and the shipping method. Your package will be in transit within 3-6 business days . This transit range can be affected mainly by the proximity of the shipping address’ to our shipping facility.

One-Day & Two-Days Shipping
Selecting either one-day or two-days shipping speeds up the process and enables you to get your order faster. However, it doesn’t mean you will receive your order in one or two days. We estimate delivery dates at checkout, taking into consideration both, item availability and shipping time.

Please keep in mind that there is no weekend delivery for One- or Two-days shipping. For example an order made ready for shipping on Friday at the end of the day via One-day shipping may not processed by the carrier until the following Monday and delivered on the following Tuesday.

Calculation of Estimated Delivery Date Range
On the day you place your order, we consider three factors in calculating the estimated delivery date range:

- Order Processing: The amount of time it takes to process your order - normally 1 - 3 business days.

- Shipping Processing: The amount of time for the product to be ready for shipment is from 24 to 48 hours.

- Shipping Speed: The shipping method you selected at checkout. Most items offer Flat Rate Shipping or Free Shipping (3-8 business days) as the choice for shipping speed, for some items we will offer Two-days Shipping, and One-day Shipping.

We combine these factors using the equation below to estimate your delivery date range: Order Processing +Shipping Processing + Shipping Speed = Estimated Delivery Date Range

Only one shipping option can be selected per order. For example, if you have two items in your bag and you would like one item to be shipped at a faster speed (such as one-day or two-days shipping), while you want the other item to be shipped as Flat Rate Shipping (3-8 business days), please place a separate order for each item.

Shipping & Handling Charges
Shipping and handling charges are based on the following:

- The delivery option you choose

- The weight, size and dimensions of your items

- Your shipping method preferences (e.g. Flat Rate Shipping, expedite shipping etc.)

You will see your shipping cost as soon as you type in your address at the checkout. After reviewing your shopping bag, you can submit your order.


Refund & Return Policy


You may return most new merchandise purchased in full price (not discounted or sale items), unopened, unworn, unwashed, and with original tags attached within 30 days of delivery for a refund less 15% re-stocking fee. If the return is a result of Modocat’s error, we will pay for the return shipping costs. Items should be returned in their original product packaging. For any return within 30 days that is not the result of Modocat’s error, we will not refund any shipping fees.

NO RETURNS ARE ACCEPTED AFTER 30 DAYS.

Shipping and handling fees on returned merchandise is nonrefundable, unless the product was shipped damaged by Modocat, or a wrong product was shipped by Modocat.

Shoes must be returned in their original shoe box without damage to the box. If you use your shoe box as a shipping box, we will not be able to refund you and your return will be refused.

How Do I Make A Return?

Contact us on support@modocat.com and explain the reason for the return, if approved you will received an email back from our customer support. You will need to pack up the returned items for shipment (per the specifications above). Please include the packing list that was included with your packages.

Please note: It may take 7-21 business days to process your return once it is received.

Once your return is processed your original method of payment will be refunded for the relevant amount as described above.

Refund Inquiries
If you have not received the refund within 4 weeks of sending your order back, please send an email to support@modocat.com.

Partial Refunds
Any item that is not in its original condition, is damaged, or is missing parts for reasons not due to Modocat's error, will be refunded up to 80% of item’s price.

Receiving a Refund
We will request from our financial institution to issue a refund after we have received and processed your return.

Refund Time Period
For items directed to a manufacturer or authorized distributor expect your refund within 4 weeks of giving your package to the return shipper (though in many cases you will receive the refund sooner). This time period includes:

- 7 to 14 business days for us to receive and process your returned merchandise

- 7 to 21 business days for us to process your refund

- The time it takes for your bank to process our refund request

We will notify you via email of your refund once we have received and processed the returned item. If the refund does not appear in your account within 4 weeks from the day you sent us your return, please contact us at support@modocat.com

Non-Returnable Items
Modocat.com does not accept returns or exchange and will not issue credit for the following items:

- All items purchased on Final Sale and/or Sale and marked as Special Price

- Hair accessories, eyewear and cosmetics

- Intimates, bodysuits, swimwear and jewelry

- Any product missing the tag, serial number or UPC

Exchanges
If you received a faulty item and need to exchange it for the same item, write ‘exchange’ in the contact form or send us an email to support@modocat.com and our customer service will contact you via email. If you would like to exchange an item for a different reason, please follow the return process and place another order for the item you wish to purchase. You do not have to wait for us to receive the original item before placing the new order.

Shipping Damaged Goods
While we and our suppliers make every effort to prevent shipping damage, on rare occasions damage may occur. For your own protection, please do not sign for merchandise until you have inspected it for damage, and retain the original shipping carton. If there appears to be shipping damage, do the following:

- Send an email to support@modocat.com within 5 days of your shipment receiving date: in this email enter the Invoice number and damage inspection report number.

- Request that UPS/USPS return the merchandise to the address listed on the package.

- Do NOT return the merchandise yourself as this may delay your reorder or crediting.

Partial refunds/Restocking Fees

-Any item that is not in its original condition, is damaged, or is missing parts for reasons not due to our error: up to 50% of item's price

-If you return an item using the return label provided by us and the reason for return is not a result of our error, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.


International Returns or Exchanges


International shipping rate is calculated by the currier.

Please Note: Some orders may be assessed additional charges. If your order requires additional charges, you will be contacted to approve these charges before we ship your order.

Total processing time, for orders, is normally 2-5 business days (exceptions: order payment verification time).

Flat Rate Shipping and Free Shipping does not apply to International orders.

Orders are shipped via USPS [United States Postal Service] or DHL.

Please allow 8-21 business days for USPS Parcel Post international delivery, 6-14 business days for USPS Priority international delivery, 5-10 business days for DHL international delivery (exceptions: customs may hold packages for periods of time before releasing).

While we do our best to provide all proper documentation for custom officials, they may still delay a package by several business days.

Please note that some countries will impose tariffs on items shipped abroad. The customer is responsible for any country specific tariffs and duties added by their respective laws and regulations. Please understand that this is a fee that your country charges the purchasing party for specific-imported products. While we take steps to minimize or eliminate the cost of importing for our customers, we must provide accurate information to customs officials.

Refused Shipments - If you refuse any shipments from modocat.com, you are responsible for the original shipping charges to you, any duties, taxes and/or customs charges that are incurred on the package (on both the original and return shipments), and the cost of returning the package to modocat.com. This amount will be subtracted from your merchandise refund.

Free shipping and shipping discounts are not valid for international orders due to the additional amount of handling and effort that are a part of the packing and shipping of each international order.

International Returns or Exchanges

How Do I Make A Return?

Contact us on support@modocat.com and explain the reason for the return, if approved you will received an email back from our customer support. You will need to pack up your items for shipment (in the original package if possible) please include the packing list that was included with your packages . Please remember that you will be responsible for the shipping costs and it is highly recommended that you send your package with insurance. That way you will be protected from loss during shipping.

Please note: It may take 7-14 business days to process your return once it is received.

Once your return is processed your original method of payment will be refunded for the amount of your purchase minus the shipping charges incurred.

How Do I Make An Exchange?

To complete your International Exchange, please follow the above instructions for International Returns. Our inventory turns over rapidly. Please email us the item[s] that you would like in exchange. Once we receive your return in the mail we will ship out your new item[s]. Unfortunately, we can not cover the shipping costs for international exchanges. You will be sent a money request for the shipping cost via PayPal.

Refused or Undeliverable Packages

Refused or undeliverable packages are subject to return shipping costs.

The cost to reship a refused or undeliverable package will be covered by you we will be sent a money request for the shipping cost via PayPal.

If you would like to cancel an order that has been returned to us, there is a 15% restocking fee.
