- - a small abstract telling us why you should be the face of Modocat

Contestants will be informed via e-mail if they are chosen for the Top 100. Their profile will be published for voting online.

Submissions are allowed until July 18th, 2012 at 5pm PST.
The Top 100 will be selected on July 18, 2012 and divided into ten “houses,” each containing ten contestants. The first round of voting will last two weeks and ends on August 1, 2012. The two contestants with the highest votes from each house, plus one additional contestant from each house selected by the Sponsor, will become the Top 30.
The Top 30 will be organized into five new “houses,” each containing six contestants. The voting will continue for a two week period ending on August 13, 2012. The contestant with the highest number of votes from each “house” will proceed to the Top 10, along with the three contestants with the next highest number of votes (from any “house”) and two contestants selected by the Sponsor.
The Top 10 Finalists will compete for fifteen days on a series of Cat Girl tasks. These fun, simple tasks will help each girl show off her personality and style. Tasks will consist of posting style photos, outfits, videos, or style advice, etc. Each task will be judged either by votes or the Sponsor’s choice, depending on the task.
On the final day of competition, August 27th, the contestant who wins the most Cat Girl tasks will be declared the Cat Girl Model Search Winner Fall/Winter 2012 and will receive a professional photo and video shoot, will be featured on Modocat’s social networks and website as the new Cat Girl, and will receive $500 worth of Modocat.com products. Her discount code will also activate a special 24 hour sale, just for her and her fans, with 50% off her 9 favorite items.
The girl with the second most Cat Girl task wins and one contestant selected by the Sponsor will each receive a professional photoshoot in Los Angeles, California, plus a 24 hour 40% off special sale on their 9 favorite items for their fans. A bonus prize will be awarded at the end of the contest to a fourth contestant (other than the First, Second, and Third Prize Winners) for outstanding engagement during the entire contest.
